I tried it out and never looked back. Reasons for it are i.e. animals, environment and health.

Other topics I learned about are AI, usability, databases, networks, software engineering, UNIX, computer graphics and more. I even implemented a native Android app to find local events.

Workshop: 3D character creation for game engines

Through an intensive workshop I learned to use Autodesk Maya and Motionbuilder, and Adobe Photoshop to model, texture, shade, rig and skin a character in 3D which then could be controlled in Unity.

    Journey to Japan

The culture, food, nature, media and language of Japan fascinate and inspire me already since my childhood (i.e. my homepage's title font came from a book about Japan). In 2023 I started to learn Japanese and finally traveled to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kamakura and Yokohama to experience it myself and make my dream come true.

    Course: Mastering Nuxt 3

Vue.js 3 and especially Nuxt.js 3 introduced a lot of new features and changes. To master them, I did not only migrate old projects, I also completed Vue School's official Nuxt 3 course and gained a certificate!

    First talk at a conference

As a developer it is normal for me to share my knowledge in presentations, but normally only in front of my colleagues. In 2024 I gave my first talk at a conference, dev connect OWL, about Flutter and when to prefer cross-platform development.

MASTODON POSTS

@gnome looks fresh! But the navigation buttons move to a second row for me depending on which I am. Also, there seem to be multiple button corner radiuses, I would focus on one (or two, when in a card).

A cool guy befriended a humble man and now helps him make his dream come true: visiting Germany. The videos touched my heart đŸĨ˛ and I even donated which I rarely do. The videos can be watched here in a playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFQ

@Jeremiah time to update my homepage (and every where else)👌đŸģ
